Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They were engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social networks.
