Srushti deshmukh who is in her third engineering year is already beginning to prepare for UPSC. After her graduation she was unsure if she would be content with her engineering job. Her dream became clearer after she began focusing on the civil service. Her parents urged her to pursue civils, and find an opportunity to serve the people. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was focused to achieve that goal. It takes more effort to get UPSC. The student also studied for UPSC exams while studying engineering. This exam preparation was done daily. In just 1 and 1/4 months she studied for engineering tests, but stayed clear of any social interaction. She believes that focusing on the task at hand is essential to pass this exam. She was determined to pass the test on her first attempt and has put in lots of work. Every day, she was reading the paper to stay on top of the latest news. Rajya Sabha TV and online studies were also of great help to her.
